PPR (Polypropylene Random Copolymer) fittings and couplings are components of a thermoplastic piping system renowned for its durability, safety, and leak-proof performance. Used for joining PPR pipes, these fittings are connected via a heat fusion welding process. This technique involves heating the end of the pipe and the inside of the fitting simultaneously before pushing them together. As the material cools, it fuses into a single, monolithic piece, creating a permanent, homogenous joint that is stronger than the pipe itself. This eliminates the risks of leaks common with glued or threaded systems, making PPR an ideal choice for hot and cold potable water distribution, as well as HVAC and industrial applications.
